Senior L&D Manager – Good Commute for Northern Home Counties/Midlands/ Cambridge

We are working with an established business, which is embarking on an exciting period of growth and positive change. We are now looking to recruit a Senior L&D Manager to support the HRD with the strategic development of the L&D and Resourcing functions.

As well as your strategic input, you will also manage a small, but growing team, helping them to deliver a first class L&D and Resourcing service to the business. You will also link in with the wider HR team working together to continually maximise levels of employee engagement and the development of colleagues at all levels. You will have the autonomy to make decisions – and be expected to make them – and be capable of running a team (even if it is only a small one to start with).

Key areas of focus will include developing L&D Strategy, Management/Leadership Development, the review and remodelling of both the Apprentice and Graduate schemes as well as playing a lead role in supporting the business to find solutions to specialist skill gaps through effective talent management and succession planning.
