Software Sales Consultant – Dublin
A lot of companies call themselves ‘market leaders’. This one genuinely is. They are experts in their market and dominate across the UK and Internationally.
A business services software company, the technology is highly effective and cutting-edge; the people ambitious and driven. It is the sort of company you will want to work for if you like fast-paced, variety and potential.
They are now setting up a Dublin Office and so need to build a team to continue this success. If you are in Dublin then great, but you won’t need to be there too much and so if you can get there when needed this will work nicely.
As the new Product Sales Consultant, it’s hard to describe exactly what you will do as you will need to tailor your approach to commercial needs. But we’ll try:
You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through both cold calling and through qualifying inbound leads.
You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and gauge their feedback regarding product functionality and pricing
You will become a product expert and undertake demonstrations both online and on client sites.
You will keep abreast of new developments in your market, keeping up to date with both your own and competitor products.
And finally, you will play an active role in the development of effective sales strategies and realistic target setting
It’s maybe easier to tell you what we want:
Ideally degree educated but not a deal breaker, technically competent (you will pick up new products easily) with exceptional communication and presentation skills. You will probably have some experience in a Product/Software Sales or maybe even Business Development with a Professional Services Firm; you will definitely be career-focussed and wanting progression.
The package will include a basic salary in the region of 35k with 7k car allowance and a generous commission scheme (70k OTE)
